We are family friends who bonded over numerous requests for our availability to help out our parents' friends and neighbors. We decided to build a platform where local families can connect with local high schoolers offering a range of services including tutoring, babysitting, rides, tech help, and party support for K–8 families. Our platform prioritizes flexibility and trust, making it easy to find reliable assistance tailored to your family's needs. Parents submit a request describing the help they need and their availability. We match them with verified Scarsdale High School students or recent graduates who offer tutoring, babysitting, driving, and more. Once matched, families coordinate directly with the student helper and Ask Away will collect a convenince fee. Families will have two options to pay per match or you can buy packages at a discount.
